Operating directly adjacent to the Interstate 95 corridor and through active commercial and residential hubs, the project required precise technical execution, strict safety controls, and specialized equipment to deliver work safely in tight right-of-ways.
Transmission Line Infrastructure Rebuild – Midwest
Aldridge was engaged to complete a critical segment of a transmission line rebuild in the Midwest, specifically targeting the most geologically and logistically challenging structures on the project. While the majority of the line had been established, the final structures required specialized means and methods that demand a high degree of technical discipline. The I-405/I-105 interchange is one of the most critical arteries in Southern California, handling over 250,000 vehicles per day. Aldridge served as the prime contractor for the Caltrans 405/105 Freeway Tunnel Lighting Upgrade, a project focused on replacing aging infrastructure with modern LED technology and intelligent control systems. The mission was to enhance driver safety and reduce long-term maintenance demands while ensuring minimal disruption to one of the nation's busiest corridors

On Chicago’s South Side, Aldridge supported the replacement of two aging railroad bridges located at 73rd Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. These critical structures are vital to regional transit, carrying more than 70 freight and commuter trains daily.
