Method of Procedures (MOP)

Aldridge has a Method of Procedure (MOP) Policy in compliance with the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 70E standard. These practices are intended to provide for employee safety relative to electrical hazards in the workplace. When a project includes exposure to electrical hazards, a written MOP has to be developed, approved, and reviewed with employees involved in the task. In addition, a shock risk assessment must be performed, and all required PPE must be properly maintained and inspected prior to use.
