ZACH KANE
Senior Vice President, Foundations
"We owe it to our people to be passionate and focused on safety. We have to ask ourselves every day if we are truly practicing what we preach. At Aldridge, we don’t just say it, we believe it."
From Problem-Solving to Strategic Leadership
With over 20 years of industry experience, Zach Kane has transitioned from a high-performing manager to an executive leader focused on the long-term success of the Foundation Group and the company. He believes a critical part of leadership is the mental shift from solving daily fire drills to defining a group’s strategic trajectory. Zach emphasizes that a leader cannot do everything alone and must empower their team to own their roles. By providing his team with the autonomy to manage day-to-day operations, Zach is able to maintain a broader perspective, ensuring that the Foundation Group’s growth and infrastructure are aligned with the company’s future goals.
The Aldridge Advantage
Zach is a firm believer that Aldridge thrives on the industry’s most challenging work because of our people’s ability to manage and mitigate risk with passion and precision. He sees the Aldridge advantage as a direct result of a family-oriented culture where team members are never just a number. This structure allows the leadership team to prioritize employee well-being and put people first, maintaining a personal connection to the workforce even as the company grows. By focusing on safety and our people, Zach ensures that Aldridge is well-positioned to provide the highest value to our customers.
Building Respect
A cornerstone of Zach’s leadership philosophy is the belief that new leaders must spend significant time in the field to gain the respect and knowledge only found on a job site. He resonates most with the core values of ‘Put People First’ and ‘Be a Great Partner’, noting that these principles are the heartbeat of the company’s culture. As the Chair of the Executive Leadership Committee for safety, Zach’s passion is rooted in a desire to support the teams who live and breathe these values every day.
