Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) completed an upgrade project at their Los Angeles Transportation Center. The project included the installation of new tracks, buildings, water systems, storm drain systems, and storm traps. Also included were a communications system, electrical system, compressed air system, job site paving, and new bridge entrance.

The scope of work performed by the Aldridge Team included 21,000 LF of duct bank, 114 hand holes, 248,000 LF cable pulling, eight transformers, 12 sectional enclosures, two pad-mounted switchgear, and a substation. Crews performed temporary power, communications, and electrical work for the canopy, wastewater treatment plant, crane maintenance pad, and fueling system. Also included were the bridge lighting, traffic signals, and street lighting modifications.
