The OSHA Electrical, Transmission, and Distribution Strategic Partnership was initiated in August 2004 with six founding members. These forward-thinking industry stakeholders recognized the need for collaboration to enhance safety for the workers in the electric line construction industry. Over the years, more like-minded companies joined, bolstering the partnership's strength and reach.
The commitment to safety was undeniable, leading to the renewal and expansion of the partnership in 2006 and 2008. By the time the partnership reaches its 20-year milestone in 2024, it had grown to encompass twelve partner companies. Today, the Electrical Transmission & Distribution Partnership boasts an impressive network, covering approximately 80 percent of the workers in the line construction industry.
