Hubbard's Cave

Aldridge installed a Photo Controlled Lighting System that automatically adjusts to ambient lighting. In addition to providing over 1,200 daylight and nighttime underpass fixtures and a control house, the Aldridge team was challenged to create a safe working environment while performing all the work at night, which required a minimum of two open lanes for traffic at all times. At the end of each nighttime work shift, all lanes were cleared, swept, and reopened by 5:00 AM for the morning rush hour. This job was located at I-90/94, Kennedy Expressway, Chicago.
